Description

Advanced Civilization is a strategy game released in 1991 as a computer adaptation of the famous Civilization board game by Francis Tresham, which is itself an early precursor to Sid Meier's Civilization series. It was developed by Millennium Interactive and published by MicroProse. Civilizations and Empires: Players can choose to control one of several ancient civilizations, each with unique characteristics and advantages. The goal is to lead your civilization to greatness by expanding its territory, advancing in technology, and establishing dominance over other civilizations. Resource Management: The game involves managing various resources such as food, production, trade, and knowledge. Players must balance growth, infrastructure, and military needs in order to maintain a competitive edge. Technology Tree: Like the board game, players in Advanced Civilization advance through a technology tree. Each new technology provides various benefits, such as improved military units, increased production capabilities, or expanded trade options. The game challenges players to strategically decide which technologies to prioritize.
